One of the plants we grabbed from a recent trip to the nursery was Philadelphus “Belle Etoile” or Mock Orange. I really like Philadelphus, a good one has such sweetly …

  • Patio Staging

Sometimes, it’s very hard to keep the patio clear. It’s a useful, sunny spot and things get piled or dumped on it while other things grow from the sides to cover …

Last winter, I bought five Zantedeschia Aethiopica or “Calla Lily” rhizomes. They’re not very cheap compared to the cost of other bulbs, corms and rhizomes so it was a bit …

Sunil Patel

I'm Sunil Patel, this is me. I created the Garden at 13 Broom Acres and I open it to visitors. I also bake and write blog posts giving a "behind the scenes" look into what it's like to maintain such a garden.

Visit the blog, then come and visit the garden. We can have a good sit-down, a jolly chinwag and a relaxing cup of tea with a sinfully generous slice of home made cake.
