  • Doing the Front Border – Again

    by Sunil
    by Sunil

It was all supposed to look so beautiful. A gleaming white picket fence, a formal half-moon, edged with naughtily ruffled thyme behind which were balls of lavender, then a mass …

  • A Season of Change

    by Sunil
    by Sunil

One of the most exciting things about creating a new garden is change. The sheer amount of change, the transformation from what was to what is and what will be. …

  • Annual Flower Show

    by Sunil

In the previous garden one of my proudest achievements was to have something in flower all year round and in such a small space that’s not easy. There are times …

It’s been a while since I last wrote and that’s because we’ve been very busy getting lots done in the garden and even meeting a far flung garden blogger too, …

Sunil Patel

I'm Sunil Patel, this is me. I created the Garden at 13 Broom Acres and I open it to visitors. I also bake and write blog posts giving a "behind the scenes" look into what it's like to maintain such a garden.

Visit the blog, then come and visit the garden. We can have a good sit-down, a jolly chinwag and a relaxing cup of tea with a sinfully generous slice of home made cake.
