January Lull

It’s been very quiet on the gardening front. There’s nothing to do. It’s been very cold recently and the ground was frozen solid, the last place I wanted to be was outside. Hardy evergreens are braving the weather while other plants are either asleep or dying (let’s hope for the former).

I shall cherish the time I can potter about with other things, sit back and relax a little and not have to worry about getting things done in the garden, which will inevitably be the case in a few month’s time when the weather starts to warm up.
