I have developed a real talent for designing and creating beautiful, easy to use and standards compliant web sites. I use the Adobe Studio Suite 8, which is the industry standard.
This site presently is my best effort and it is pretty good considering what is out there. In the end, I just want the web to look nice and be accessible - is that too much to ask?

My expertise is not just limited to static sites, but I also have experience in setting up database driven and interactive sites using freely available software to create blogs, wiki's and online-based content management systems. I've experience in:
- WordPress: a blog and publishing platform
- MediaWiki: a powerful wiki system which is used by the Wikipedia
- Dokuwiki: a smaller wiki suitable for corporate intranets and portals
- GNUMP3d: a web-based personal music streaming server
- Etomite: a web-based content management system
- Joomla!: one of the most powerful content management systems available
These site packages come with default designs and templates. I can modify the templates to make them naturally fit in with your corporate look and branding so that users won't even know if they're using a wiki or blog system or browsing a static site, it all just blends in perfectly.

Looking through my portfolio, it's obvious how my style and technique have improved greatly with time, knowledge and experience. This website hopefully gives you an idea of my kind of design and the way I like websites to look now. I have a set of axioms that I keep in my mind when I am making e-pages:
- Make it visually stunning: impress your visitors, make them go "ooh"
- Be sophisticated, yet simple: the code may be complex, but keep the front simple
- No distractions, pop-ups or advertising: remember when blinking text was all the rage?
- Subtle yet elegant: keep things second nature so that your visitors know but don't notice
- Exceptional standards: write standards compliant code, so everyone can see and use it
- Attention to detail: make it pixel perfect, because someone will notice
Make your Site Stand Apart
It's child's play to make a website, which is why there are billions of them out there. What is much more difficult is to make a site that catches the user's eye, and keeps them there, and keeps them coming back. In a global, commercial world, your website is usually the only way other people know you exist, and what was that phrase about "first impressions"..?
