Set to Perfection

I can use the LaTeX typesetting system. This is a professional level, software typesetting system used widely throughout scientific and academic circles because of its ability to beautifully set mathematical equations and complex formulas far beyond the ability of many other programs available.

In addition to mathematical formulae, LaTeX is ideal for long documents that run into hundreds or even thousands of pages. LaTeX is used to create PhD theses, books, articles and journals.

Conversion and Restoration

I have converted Word documents and dissertations into beautifully and professionally typeset output for people and have also turned my attention to restoring old books (over 100 years old) from plain text into full PDF eBooks.

Restoration of old favourites

If you have important documents that you want professionally typeset to give them that special edge, please contact me Go

In the meantime, feel free to browse the small library of eBooks below which I have already restored from original plain text files.

Project Gutenberg is an open, online repository of books whose copyright has expired. The books in the archives are normally in plain text or html format and are thus difficult to read. However, it only takes a few hours to convert a plain text file into a beautifully typeset PDF eBook.

I have done this with several of my favourite books: Alice in Wonderland, and titles from Jane Austen and the Brontë sisters. The books in this small library are texts that I have converted into eBooks from Project Gutenberg and are free for you to download and enjoy.

Note: the copyright must have expired and the plain text or html source file for the book must be available in the Project Gutenberg archives or elsewhere on the internet for me to be able to convert the book.
